SpotiDown is an independent software tool designed to facilitate downloading audio content for personal, educational, and non-commercial offline backup purposes.
Content Conduit Statement: SpotiDown operates as a technical client and does not host, store, index, or distribute copyrighted media files on its servers. All audio streams are resolved and processed directly on the client's local device.
3. Intellectual Property Rights & User Responsibility
A. Content Ownership: All music, audio files, album covers, artist names, and trademarks downloaded or accessed via the Service belong exclusively to their respective copyright holders, artists, and record labels.
B. User Compliance: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right or permission from copyright owners to download and store audio content in your jurisdiction.
C. Non-Affiliation: SpotiDown is an independent project and is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spotify AB, Google, or any other media corporation.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use SpotiDown to:
- Redistribute, sell, broadcast, or republish downloaded media files commercially.
- Infringe upon the copyright, patent, trademark, or intellectual property rights of any party.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or compromise the security of the Service.
- Use automated scrapers, bots, or malicious scripts against our servers.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or compatible with all devices or external APIs.
